After too long a hiatus, I am finally back in the shop.
In the mean time the resins of the cherry wood of this harp polymerized deep into the wood. After scraping and cleaning the surface. a wash of mineral spirits reveals the nature of the wood… and also reveals every tiny fault and peccadillo to be addressed.
